2014 new beekeeper info sessions set

The New River Valley Beekeepers’ Association will present “So, You Want To Be a Beekeeper” sessions at regional library branches in January 2014 addressing all aspects of getting started in beekeeping (costs, equipment needed, time required, procedures for acquiring and keeping bees, expectations for honey harvest, etc.)

Presentations last approximately 1 hour and are free. No sign-up or registration required.

NRVBA members interested in helping present the sessions are also needed.

For more information or to volunteer, call Jerry Borger at 540-382-1798.
